Yes, a range of ticket options including family and two-day passes will be available.A family pass includes 2 adults and 2 children. Should you have more than two children, please purchase a child pass for each child.

Example. If you are a family of 2 adults and four children, you would purchase 1 x family pass and 2 x child tickets. This would your entire family entry to the Show. 

Two day passes will provide access throughout the entire Show. One day pass will allow access on the day you have selected. 

Your ticket can be scanned at the Gate using your smart phone. If you prefer to print your ticket, this can also be scanned at the Gate. Please note that each ticket can only be scanned once. 

After your ticket has been scanned, you will receive a wristband that must be worn onsite at all times that you are on the Showground. 

Yes, tickets will be available at the Gate across both days. 

Tickets will be available via the official Katherine Show website. Early bird tickets will be on sale until 11:59pm Thursday 16 July. After this time, tickets can be pruchased at the Box Office at the Showground.

For accessibility access, please follow the directions of the carpark team and traffic management. There is a drop-off/ pick up zone at the front gate of the Box Office. All ticket holders that need accessibility access, will be provided the opportunity to drop off. There are a small number of carparks available, however should these be full, you will be directed to park in the front carpark. When it comes time to leacve, simply head to the dropp off/ pick up zone. 

For all two-day ticket holders, there is onsite parking for $10. This can be purchased at the time of booking your tickets. Once you have purchased your car pass, you will simply need to follow the signage directions to access the onsite parking. Your ticket will be scanned, and you will be granted access to onsite parking. 

Please note, onsite carparking is only available to two-day ticket holders. 

Yes, onsite parking is available. There is pre-booked carparking which can be purchased online. There is also general parking at the front of the Showgrounds. A team of carpark ushers and traffic management is set up to provide smooth entry/exit out of all carparks throughout the Show. 

Toilets and Showers are provided. There is a small amount of power outlets available, however power cannot be guarenteed. No water outlets at campsite are provided, however this is access to water. 

Camping tickets can be purchased when purchasing your tickets. Please note that camping is an additonal cost and you will need to purchase a Show ticket for every person who camps at your site. 

Yes. Camping is available at the Showgrounds. There is a site fee of $25 for camping. Please note that this is a 'site fee' and not a per person or per night fee. 

The fireworks will held at 7.30pm Saturday 18 July at the Showground Arena.This display will go for approx. 6-7 minutes. 

From rodeo action and competitions to pavilions, live entertainment, food vendors and family attractions, there’s something for everyone. Each day there will be a variety of competitions that includes equestrian, cattle, poultry, campdraft and rodeo. You can also stroll through the pavillions and see the wide variety of competition entries across cooking, craft, art, photography, woodwork, leatherwork, agriculture, horticulture and so much more. 

A full program will be published prior to the Show. Keep an eye out on a Facebook page. 

A small quantity of show programs will be printed and available at the Gates. The full program will be available from your smartphone.

The full program will be available on the official website prior to the event. Once the Show program has been published, a Facebook post will advise of the program being available

We recommend sun protection, hats, water, and comfortable footwear. In case of rain, bring wet weather gear. 

Yes, the Show operates in most weather conditions. Should there be any severe weather events, the Show Committee will make a decision based on the safety of all patrons. 

Gates open at 7:00am on both Friday and Saturday.

The Show runs through to approximately 11:00pm each day.

Access to your allocated site will be available on Thursday 16 July. Should you need an earlier time, please contact the Stall Coordinator on showtime@katherineshow.org.au to arrange an earlier time. Please note, no site access will be available until site packs have been picked up from the Show Office.  

Please plan for an audience of 35,000 - 37,000.  

Yes, dogs are permitted, however must be contained and walked on a lead. This includes the days prior to the show. Please ensure that all dog waste is picked up and discarded in the waste bins around the Showground  

Yes, you are welcome to camp on your site. You must have a 2-day pass. A swag or similar is encouraged if camping on your site. Please note that your camping site must be within your allocated space and should not spill into other vendor sites. Should you need to camp elsewhere, there is ample space on the racecourse.  

Please note some areas such as the food court where trailers and large camping set ups are no longer allowed and swag/ tent is your best option. 

Yes, the Committee works closely with NT Work Safe throughout the build-up to the Show and throughout show days. Safety representatives work on behalf of the Committee and the Environmental Health Agency. 

As part of your booking, all vendors will be required to trade until the agreed times. This includes trading until 6:00pm Saturday with no vehicles can drive on site until 10:00pm. Should vendors leave early, you will be banned from being involved in future years 

Yes, all sites receive two wrist bands, stalls with a base fee over $750 receive an additional two wrist bands. Please wear them on show days. All additional passes for workers can be purchased by visiting www.katherinshow.org.au or during the application process for a discounted fee.  

There are several designated smoking areas on site. Smoking at your stand, while serving customers on show days is prohibited.
