After the disruption and devastation of recent flooding, Katherine is beginning to turn a powerful corner, with the community coming together stronger, prouder, and more connected than ever. What started as a challenging chapter is now becoming a story of resilience, unity, and renewed energy as the town rebuilds and looks ahead with optimism. As part of our commitment, the Katherine Show Society will be providing free competition entries in 2026 for the Katherine Show.

Cattle
Cooking
Homebrew
Horticulture
Needlework
Pet
Photography
Poultry

No prize money awarded across these categories this year, prize cards will still be proudly presented to recognise achievement and participation. This approach allows us to continue celebrating the incredible talent and community spirit that defines the Katherine Show, while ensuring the event remains accessible to all.
