What is Your School Doing for the 2017 Katherine Show?

How would you like to be recognised as the best junior photographer or the best junior cook in the area?  Now is the time to start planning on what to enter in this year’s Katherine Show.  Every section has classes especially for juniors and the Junior Champion of each section wins a ribbon and $50 cash.  Not only that, but there is $100 to be given to the school who has the most Junior Champions, so it is a double win!

The list of classes is available on the Katherine Show website and you can print a schedule from the site.  Juniors can also enter into the senior sections if they think they are good enough and be eligible for overall Champion.

Get your school friends together or your family and make a scarecrow to be in the running for the Champion Scarecrow of the Show, or if you think you can make one yourself enter in the 13 and under or 17 and under class.

Executive Office, Sue Sinclair said that there will be a dedicated on-line entry system that will be quick and easy for schools and bulk entries.  Just make sure your school’s name is added if you are entering from home.

Mums and Dads don’t forget that there are competitions for the pre-schoolers too.  The Katherine Show has all new Colouring In Competitions and the ever popular Cupcake and Rooster Silhouettes.  Sketches for the colouring in are available on the website and wooden silhouettes are available from the office.  This is a great way to keep the littlies occupied and get them involved.
